DESCRIPTION
The Lotus Ring was one of the flagship line products of FORMÉ JEWELS. So the brand demanded an advertisement for the ring. The ring was inspired by the petal design of lotus. It showed petals in two layers with embedded diamonds and one diamond elevated with a stand. It is a complex yet elegant design.
Since the ring was inspired by nature and the lotus, I also looked at nature for making an ad for it. The lotus leaf fascinated me. The circular shape and leaf veins that lead to the centre of the leaf point towards the centre. It was the perfect prop to show the ring. So I recreated that texture and leaf model in Blender. Then I went on to create an apt environment and scenary that matched it to create the advertisement video.
DESCRIPTION
Other highlights in this project included a procedurally animated lotus flower, a black canoe that you would see in Kerala backwaters and golden balls to add to the ambience.
